The Boppin' Rhythm Boozers, Ride On
Hailing from the South of Holland, and formerly known as "High Ho" they changed their name to The Boppin' Rhythm Boozers in the spring of 2000. Two new musicians were added, now counting drums, bullfiddle and two guitars, the perfect combination for fifties Rockabilly. Four guy's playing their socks of on stage. Carl Perkins, Hank Williams, Johnny Burnette, Johnny Cash, many of the greatest rockabilly artists from the fifties are covered by The Boppin' Rhythm Boozers. In 2002 Hans van Haarlem (Rarity Records) asked the band to record a CD and in February 2003 they went into the studio to record the album "Ride On", containing various rockabilly hits like "Bang Bang", "Cherokee Boogie", "Please Mama Please" and many more. They also surprised their fans with three brand new self-penned songs "Ride On", "Hot Rod Race" and "Hillbilly Boozers". After the release of "Ride On" the band got a lot of gigs, and in January 2004 they did a mini concert for Omroep Brabant, a regional Dutch radio station. The response was great. The Boozers are already working on new material for, hopefully, a next CD. Keep on boppin' and take care with the booze! The Boppin' Rhythm Boozers are: Info & bookings:
