| When visiting Sam Hawkins, Winnetou is worried about Tashunko. Together they go looking for him. They find the Cheyenne village completely destroyed. Most men are dead. The wounded Wetatoni tells them what happened. Stevens men have butchered everybody.
Winnetou gathers all children of the village, the young messengers have to warn the other tribes and invite them to a meeting. Meanwhile Stevens is back at the railway camp, boasting about his actions. One of his man is playing a flute, the one Tashunko had given to Winona.
When the children return from their mission to inform the other tribes, they bring news that a number of warriors will be at the meeting with Winnetou. |
